1. Service Agreement:
By engaging our dog training & walking services, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions. This agreement establishes a legally binding contract between you (the client) and our company (Iron K9 Dog Training)
2. Services Offered:
We offer professional dog training & walking services tailored to meet your specific needs. Our services may include obedience training, behaviour modification, puppy training, individual sessions and other related canine care services.
3. Client Responsibilities:
As the client, you agree to provide accurate information about your dog's health, behaviour, and any special requirements. You are responsible for ensuring that your dog is up to date with vaccinations, licenses, and other necessary paperwork.
4. Dog's Health and Safety:
We prioritize the health and safety of all dogs in our services. While we take reasonable precautions to prevent accidents and injuries, unforeseen circumstances may arise. By engaging our services, you acknowledge that we are not liable for any illness, injury, loss, or damage that may occur during training or walking sessions.
5. Dog Behaviour:
While we strive to provide a very high level of training and ensure the safety of all dogs, we cannot guarantee changes in behaviour or temperament. Dogs may react differently to training techniques, and results may vary. We will work diligently to address behavioural issues, but ultimate responsibility for the dog's ongoing behaviour rests with the owner.
6. Payment Terms:
Our fees for dog training and walking services are outlined on our website. Payment must be made in full, unless mutually agreed upon, prior the commencement of training with Iron K9.
7. Liability:
While we take every reasonable precaution to ensure the safety of your dog, accidents can happen. By engaging our services, you agree to release us from any liability for injury, loss, theft, or damage to your dog, property, or any third party during training or walking sessions.
8. Confidentiality:
We respect your privacy and will treat all information shared with us as confidential. We will not disclose any personal or sensitive information to third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law.
9. Termination:
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time by providing written notice. Termination does not absolve either party of any outstanding financial obligations.
10. Unused Sessions & Refunds:
All training programs are delivered as a full-service package. Training sessions are non-refundable once the program has commenced. Except in the case of extreme circumstances. Missed or unused sessions may be held as a credit at Iron K9's discretion but are not guaranteed. Credits are non-transferable unless otherwise agreed.
11. Cancellation and Rescheduling:
We understand that schedules can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule a training or walking session, please provide us with at least 24 hours' notice.
12. Emergency Situations:
In the event of an emergency, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you or your designated emergency contact. If we are unable to reach you, we reserve the right to seek veterinary care for your dog at your expense. You authorize us to make decisions regarding your dog's health and welfare in such situations.
13. Photographs and Marketing:
We may occasionally take photographs or videos of you and your dog during training or walking sessions for marketing or promotional purposes. By engaging our services, you grant us permission to use such media material without further consent or compensation. If you do not wish your dog's images or videos to be used, please notify us in writing.
14. Indemnification:
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising out of the actions, behavior, or health of your dog, or any violation of these terms and conditions.
15. Modification of Services:
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any aspect of our dog training and walking services, including pricing, at our discretion. We will provide reasonable notice of any changes that may affect your scheduled sessions or rates.
16. Entire Agreement:
This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and our company regarding the dog training and walking services provided. It supersedes any prior agreements, oral or written, relating to the subject matter herein.
